- Addictions awareness training

Addictions are a misery to the individuals and families trapped by them, and often a mystery to everyone else.

LFTW’s Addiction Awareness training aims to inform and equip. It is typically an evening or half-day, looking at addictions, how they affect individuals and families, the spiritual issues and how, in general, terms we can respond.

Our trainers are all experienced in working with addictions and use a variety of methods to put the information across to those participating.

Our aim is to convey information without jargon, and give the truth and not the hype about addictions so that parents, teachers, youth workers, church goers etc, are informed and feel more comfortable talking about and dealing with these issues.

For projects and churches wanting a more comprehensive overview of this subject, we can offer one or two day courses under the general title of Equipping the Church to Reach an Addictive Society
